KEYMOB LOGO

a key for a mob. the logo of key mob, the independent rap collective i started with my people from castilla.

Client: Key Mob
Role: Logo design
Category: Identity
Year: 2022

key mob was born around 2021 from one sentence: you have the key to reach them. the key became the name, and the name needed a mark that looked forged, not typed.

the letters are cut, not drawn. pointed blackletter terminals taken from gothic stone, packed into one heavy block, with a single underline that runs under the whole word.

then chrome. liquid metal with one light source, somewhere between a car emblem and an old rap cover. cold and loud at the same time.

the files keep the process honest. on 12 january 2022 the chrome word was saved at 16:09. at 22:28 the same night it was locked inside an oval, and a word became a badge.

everything that comes out of key mob comes out of key mob: covers, promo, clothes. the badge is on all of it.
